Kevin Lehman is the President of Blue Horizon Management Company. As President, Kevin implements the strategic plans and policies of the Blue Horizon Management Company. Kevin oversees the managerial processes and procedures for the common interest developments and rental units.
Kevin holds a Broker’s License with the California Department of Real Estate, and designations of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS), and the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) through Community Associations Institute (CAI). He is also a “Certified Community Association Manager designation through the California Association of Community Managers. Kevin graduated from UC-Davis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Managerial Economics.
When not engulfed in the management of Common Interest Developments and Rental Units, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, miniature Australian shepherds, and hiking our mountains.
Daniel Huls is the Controller of Blue Horizon Management Company. As Controller, Daniel enjoys a diverse array of duties to ensure smooth operations throughout the organization. Responsibilities include managing our corporate and client accounting, risk management, technology systems, human resources, payroll, and designing and maintaining this website.
Daniel has over eighteen years of combined corporate and HOA accounting experience and has received his Certificate of Community Association Financial Management (CAFM) from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Daniel graduated from UC-Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics and Accounting and holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management from UC-Irvine.
When not producing Common Interest Development and Rental Unit financial packets, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball, hiking, and enjoying all that Santa Barbara has to offer.
Director of HOA Management
Alexa Gomez is the Director of HOA Management of Blue Horizon Management Company. As Director of HOA Management, Alexa oversees the support, education, and leadership of the full HOA department.
Alexa directly supervises all Assistant Community Managers and Community Managers. As an Atomic Habit Leader, Alexa empowers her team to maximize daily productivity by compounding positive habits. Team success is a driving force behind Alexa’s push for excellence and can be observed through direct support of all team members.
Alexa partnered with Blue Horizon in October of 2019 after graduating from UCSB with a degree in Global Studies. Blue Horizon is grateful to have connected with Alexa both personally and professionally. Since partnering with Blue Horizon, Alexa Gomez has worn many hats and become a subject matter expert in California Common Interest Developments.
Alexa's hobbies include hiking the Santa Barbara mountains, thrifting, reading and road tripping California.
Director of Rental Management
Paul Knight is the Director of Rental Management at Blue Horizon Management Company. As Director, Paul manages the day-to-day rental operations, is supported by a property manager, and collaborates with the HOA team to provide comprehensive service.
Paul is a third generation Santa Barbarian and has over 10 years of experience in the rental property management industry as a licensed real estate agent. He specializes in managing residential single-family homes and multi-family properties. Paul takes a pro-active approach to safeguarding your investment and establishes a long-term plan for maintenance that directly impacts value and profitability.
Paul is a Santa Barbara Don and graduated with a liberal arts degree with an emphasis in business and entrepreneurship from Antioch University. Paul’s hobbies include being a master chef for his wife and two daughters, improving his ballroom dance technique and enjoying the outdoors in beautiful Santa Barbara County.
